2010 Aust. Open Water Championships

Six of our swimmers competed at the recent Australian Open Water Championships in Victoria, with some outstanding performances:

Josh Richardson - gold in the 16years 5km and 10km events
Trent Grimsey - gold in the 5km open event; 6th in the 10km open event
Cody Grimsey - 4th in both the 5km and 10km open events
Amy Saunders - 6th in the girls 16years 5km event; 8th in the girls 16years 10km event
Emily Duncan - 9th in the girls 14years 5km event; 4th in the girls 14years 10km event
Alira-Grace Ellis - 7th in the girls 13years 5km event

Cody gained Australian team selection to compete in the 5km and 10km events at the Oceania Championships in June 2010.

Trent gained Australian team selection to compete in the 5km event at the World Championships.
