Throughout the season the Albany Creek Swim Club attends and hosts swimming competitions and carnivals.  These meets help to foster club spirit and the ACSC actively promotes meets and encourages the attendance and participation of all swimmers.  To participate at these meets, swimmers must be registered members of our Club and be affiliated with Brisbane Swimming and Swimming Queensland.

Nominating for Competitions and Carnivals

Club members will be notified of competitions and carnivals throughout the season.  The ACSC Calendar of Events on this website will be kept up to date with this information.  Upcoming competitions and carnivals will be posted on the website as a News Item.  Members should also monitor the notice board at the Leisure Centre.

Please use the Swimming Queensland nomination form when nominating for any Brisbane-level or QLD-level swimming competitions.  This form can be obtained by clicking here.  Paper copies of this form are also available at the club.

Nominations should be placed in an envelope and must be accompanied by the applicable nomination fees.  Where required, nominations must also include proof of times, detailing the date and venue when times were achieved.

When nominating for competitions that have qualifying times, only times that have been swum at qualifying meets can be used (club night times are not permitted).  Short Course times (25m pools) cannot be used as times for Long Course meets (50m pools) - these need to be obtained at a 25m Short Course event.

All nominations for ACSC Carnivals, Brisbane-level or QLD-level swimming competitions are to be placed in the locked wooden nominations box at the club.

Nominations for Australian events are now online, and are available from the Swimming Australia Calendar of Events.


Nominations and Results

An electronic copy of competition and carnival nominations will be available via a News Items on this website.  A paper copy of nominations will also be available for viewing at the Club notice board at Leisure Centre (please do not remove this single copy from this location).
