Welcome to the Albany Creek Swim Club.

Our club aims to provide an enjoyable and supportive family environment that fosters participation at all levels of swimming ability.  We aim to extend and improve the art of swimming and encourage personal commitment to a regular training schedule and involvement in all club activities.

2011-12 was a very successful year for the club, highlighted by finishing second in the Brisbane Premier Division, we also improved 7 positions at the Queensland State Championships by finishing 10th overall and we conducted a very successful winter short course meet.  Our success in the swimming pool is directly attributable to an effective committee, highly respected and successful coaching staff and our swim team who pride themselves on hard work.

Our club coaches are led by Head Coach Richard Sleight and include Sharon Berry and Cheryl Lowe.  We also welcome Marcelino De Lima as State Squad coach for 2012.

Thankyou to the 2011-12 committee.  In particular, thankyou to our immediate past president, Leanne Blaney.  With the support of your committee, you have left the new committee with a club stronger than when you took over and better positioned to achieve our objectives.

In 2011-12 our club had around 130 competitive swimmers of which over 50% were aged 12 years or younger.  An extraordinary 99% are aged 16 years or younger!  The 2012-13 season looks promising as our younger swimmers become a little more experienced and are set to benefit from our highly skilled coaches supported by a strong and happy club.
