Welcome back for the second half of the 2009/10 season. Club night commences on the 27^th of January with a further 4 weeks until Club Championship on the 6^th of March. It’s a very busy time of the year with many carnivals, championships and school swimming events over the next few months. Best of luck to all our swimmers.

The committee has set a date for the Annual General Meeting and Presentation Day. Both will take place at the Albany Creek Leisure Centre on the 16^th of May. All committee positions will become vacant and a new committee elected. Numerous current members of the committee will not be seeking re-election next season so if you’re interested in being involved please talk with one of the current committee members about what position may suit you.

Congratulations to everyone who competed and all those who helped at the Albany Creek Junior Short Course Carnival on Sunday 17^th January. The carnival was a huge success with a huge 72 swimmers from Albany Creek Competing. The committee would like to thank all those who helped make the carnival run so smoothly. It was great to see so many parents and older swimmers who were not competing help on the day. Next year’s carnival looks like being bigger and better.

Our Swim Club Night is on every Wednesday night between October and March, starting at 6:45 sharp. The first club night of the season will be 27- Jan-2010. Nominations can be made from the ‘Club Nights’ link on the left or the 'Nominate for Club Night' link above.

The Albany Creek Swim Club provides an enjoyable, family environment that fosters participation at all levels of swimming ability. We aim to extend and improve the art of swimming and encourage personal commitment to a regular training schedule and involvement in all club activities.
